Matilda

This portrait of a girl with a polka dot blouse was painted by Amedeo Modigliani in 1919.  He uses a similar style to other paintings of girls that he worked on in that period. The long necks and the dark eyes which he painted as empty were common features. Once quoted as saying "when I know your soul, I will paint your eyes".

Choose to have this beautiful painting as an unframed giclee print which has been printed onto our fine art paper or as a canvas wall hanging.  The wall hanging is made from our fine art canvas and it is trimmed at the top and bottom with a stylish oak poster hanger. A leather adjustable cord allows you to hang your poster at exactly the right height.

Our prints are museum-quality prints. We use 100% archival paper or canvas and archival inks, resulting in beautiful prints with rich and vivid colours that will last for generations to come.
