Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai created the Great Wave off Kanagawa around 1829. This image shows an enormous blue wave threatening fishing boats just off the coast of the town of Kanagawa. You can just about spot Mount Fuji in the background. This is one of the most iconic pieces of Japanese wall art.
This gorgeous print is available as a canvas wall hanging which is made from our fine art canvas and it is trimmed at the top and bottom with a stylish oak poster hanger. A leather adjustable cord allows you to hang your art at exactly the right height. All you have to do is unroll it and it is ready to hang.
We don't believe in throw-away art. We only print onto thick luxurious canvas using archival pigment inks and the most up-to-date Giclee printing technology which results in beautiful prints with rich and vivid colours that will last for generations to come.
